As a Network Engineer at Workwarp, you'll play a critical role in supporting our business customers, designing and delivering custom-managed services, and driving our continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
- Support new and existing ISP/MSP business customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of their network-related issues.
- Work on supporting business data circuits, SDWAN Networks, VoIP services, VPNs, Managed Routers, Firewalls, and other network infrastructure.
- Design, deliver, and maintain various custom-managed services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance our network services.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as a Network Engineer at Workwarp, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, with a strong foundation in computer networking principles.
- 3-5 years of related experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the ISP/MSP industry.
- Command line experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
- Firewall configuration experience, particularly with Fortinet.
- A solid understanding of BGP, OSPF, and VRRP routing protocols.
- Experience with basic routers/firewalls, NAT (Network Address Translation), and COS/QOS.
- Network design skills, with the ability to plan and implement scalable and secure network architectures.
- SOC2 knowledge and understanding, with a focus on security and compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask assignments while following process flows.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and resolve customer issues effectively.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and a proactive approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA and CCNP certification, demonstrating a strong foundation in networking principles and practices.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SNMP, syslog, and network performance monitoring software.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
