**Responsibilities**
As a Medical Records Transcriptionist and Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Transcribing radiology reports from dictated recordings and canned reports, including mammograms, ultrasounds, MRI, image-guided procedures, and other imaging modalities
* Updating breast density, follow-up dates, surgical follow-ups, and physical charts for each patient
* Reviewing and editing drafts for clarity, accuracy, and grammar, adhering to departmental and industry standards
* Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to clarify dictation and ensure completeness of reports
* Maintaining confidentiality and complying with all legal and ethical standards related to patient information and medical records
* Prioritizing and managing workload effectively to meet transcription deadlines and turnaround times
* Staying updated with medical terminology, MQSA, and advancements in radiology to enhance transcription accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Proven experience as a medical transcriptionist, specifically in radiology, with a strong understanding of radiology terminology and procedures
* Proficiency in transcribing medical dictation using transcription software and word processing tools
* Excellent typing skills and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in transcribing complex medical terminology
* Knowledge of medical ethics, confidentiality standards, and regulatory requirements related to healthcare documentation
* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals
* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
