About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality instructional materials aligned with course competencies and learning objectives, catering to both self-service use and virtual one-to-many events.
- Deliver effective, relevant, and engaging virtual events that support student learning and achievement.
- Continuously update knowledge, skills, and expertise through active participation in faculty learning communities and other developmental opportunities.
- Provide proactive, timely, and effective one-to-one virtual instruction to students, addressing their unique needs and fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Facilitate online student communities to encourage peer collaboration, effective faculty interaction, and student development.
- Offer student-centered coaching to help students achieve personal, academic, and career goals, adapting instructional practices as needed.
- Utilize data and student insights to identify those in need of proactive support, tailoring outreach efforts accordingly.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- A terminal degree (Doctorate) from an accredited institution, with a focus on a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of K-12 teaching experience, demonstrating a strong background in children's literature and reading methods.
- Subject-matter expertise in the assigned content area, with the ability to develop instructional materials and deliver virtual instruction.
- Strong knowledge of how student characteristics interact with different learning needs, allowing for tailored instructional approaches.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to moderate online student communities and encourage engagement.
- The ability to analyze student data and learning behaviors to identify individual needs and provide targeted support.

Compensation and Benefits
