As a Customer Service Representative - Parent Liaison, you will play a vital role in building rapport with families, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. You will educate potential families about our evaluation appointment, treatment process, and insurance process, expediting the process while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to our families over the phone, ensuring a compassionate and efficient experience.
- Accurately enter patient registration information and initial appointment scheduling, including identifying potential conflicts or trends for each Clinic schedule.
- Coordinate information between referring physicians, insurance companies, and our own treatment clinics, ensuring seamless communication.
- Review cost share amounts, co-payments, and financial responsibility with our families, providing clear and concise information.
- Handle variable call volume on multiple queues, averaging 40 to 70 calls a day, while maintaining excellent customer service.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of customer service or related experience, with a strong foundation in providing exceptional customer service.
- 1-2 years of experience with computer software, with proficiency in using software applications to manage and track information.
- Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and human relations skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, with a strong understanding of cultural sensitivity and awareness.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to absorb new information in a timely manner, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Professional demeanor in both written and spoken communication with families, providers, and coworkers, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritize daily tasks to manage individual workload, with a strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a healthcare or medical setting, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and concepts.
- Familiarity with insurance companies and billing processes, with a strong understanding of insurance terminology and concepts.
- Previous experience working with families or patients, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of $17.00 - $18.00, dependent on relevant experience.
