Job Summary
We're seeking highly motivated and talented Public Relations Specialists to join our team at Apple Park in Cupertino, USA. As a Public Relations Specialist, you'll be part of a rotational development program that will give you hands-on experience across various PR teams, including Product, Services, App Store, Retail, and Values PR. This 15-month program is designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals looking to kick-start their careers in PR and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on broad news, reviews of Apple products, software, and services, and issues relevant to Apple and the industries we operate in.
- Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to launch new products and features across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, HomePod, and Apple Vision Pro.
- Work with the Services PR team to tell stories related to new experiences on Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Fitness+, Apple Maps, Apple News, Apple Arcade, and Apple's financial services, including Apple Pay.
- Partner with the App Store team to identify stories about developers and how they use our products and technologies to create amazing apps for customers.
- Promote Apple's values and initiatives around accessibility, education, environment and sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and security.
- Conduct research on press and influencers covering specific subject verticals.
- Manage publication timetables and media lists.
- Create blog posts, media notes, press releases, and pitches.
- Utilize internal and external tools to identify and pursue new storytelling opportunities.
- Assist with PR activities related to events, press visits, author studios, and other media and influencer relations programs.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study (e.g., communications, public relations, advertising).
- 0-1 year of work experience in an office environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Apple products and software is a plus.
