Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our Walgreens DPS team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing patient data, managing pharmacy operations, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Patient Experience:
- Draw in patients by greeting them and offering assistance with items and services.
- Settle patient issues as quickly as possible and respond to inquiries to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Model and offer client support best practices with all colleagues to deliver a unique and pleasant experience.
- Tasks:
- Advise patients and answer their inquiries regarding the use of medication, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient data security, generics, more affordable medications, over-the-counter items, and refer to clinical suppliers when necessary.
- Perform pharmacy tasks including compounding, drug treatment audits, check, and medication management.
- Review, interpret, and accurately administer prescribed medications when required by responsibility.
- Individuals and Performance Management:
- Help the Drug Store Administrator with staff hiring and training.
- Develop the course of Drug Store Supervisor in staff performance by training, and providing productive feedback, checking customer service, and encouraging colleague improvement.
- Preparation and Self-awareness:
- Keep up-to-date information and required permitting/credentialing/confirmation as laid out by government and state guidelines to offer such clinical types of assistance.
- Keep up-to-date information and skills connected with pharmacy and healthcare by reading pharmacy-related journals, company publications, and communications.
Essential Capabilities
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the region.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing exercises that show a strong understanding of pertinent state and government controlled substance regulations.
- Confirmed Immunizer or able to become an immunizer in at least 90 days of hire.
Preferred Capabilities
- No less than 2-year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and check, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
