Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our team in California, USA. As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for executing medical services procedures and driving patient wellbeing results. You will also be responsible for executing patient intercession drug store programs and ensuring consistency of clinical drug store services. This is a part-time remote position that requires a strong background in data entry, healthcare operations, and retail management.
Key Responsibilities
- Carries out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects.
- Drives consistency and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by analyzing, assessing, and re-designing processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing changes.
- Drives local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to organizational financial objectives. Executes and implements patient intercession pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance.
- Supports efforts to improve patient experience by focusing on healthcare services (e.g., patient counseling, medication management, drug treatment reviews, and retail, clinical, or wellness services, such as vaccinations, disease management, and Specialty programs).
- Provides expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leaders. Supports staff training experiences and development opportunities. Advances pharmacy staff by encouraging a shared vision and supporting organizational strategies, methodologies, mission, values, and guidelines of ethics and integrity.
- Conducts data and clinical audits and makes necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and propriety of medications.
- Reviews patient records and profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment. Provides individualized patient/supplier conferences.
- Through the use of excellent interpersonal skills, wins the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy concerns.
- Provides feedback concerning the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program, including comments from patients as the value of individual conferences.
- Responsible for all inquiries, conversations, and issues that directly relate to patient treatment.
- Provides clinical interviews and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans on a case-by-case basis.
- Performs other work related to the job duties in this document as assigned by management.
- Adheres to policies and procedures for all job responsibilities to meet objectives. Complies with organizational policies and procedures, including all HIPAA rules/guidelines.
- Ensures compliance with government, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
Essential Qualifications
- Current pharmacist license as allowed by the relevant state licensing authority.
- Experience in promoting colleagues to research and resolve issues.
- Experience working with confidential information.
- Able to work non-standard hours, which may include nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing/scheduling and following details and meeting time constraints of multiple tasks with varying completion dates.
- Experience creating ways to achieve objectives with minimal oversight, relying on oneself to complete targets and determining when acceleration of issues is necessary.
- Experience providing customer support to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessing customer satisfaction.
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the ideal time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to obtain other state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
- Knowledge of insurance plans.
- Knowledge of PC operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus.
- Basic level expertise in Microsoft Excel (e.g., opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save capabilities, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a section, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check or printing worksheets).
- Basic level expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, modifying, saving, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, focusing, and altering text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving items, printing slide view, and running a slide show).
- Basic level expertise in Microsoft Word (e.g., opening a document, cutting, pasting, and adjusting text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and paragraph width, formatting, inserting graphics, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review, or printing capabilities).
