About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Care Representative to join our team on a remote basis. As a key contributor to our customer service operations, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service, and finding innovative ways to respond to customer needs. Responsibilities
- Handle and carefully respond to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills
- Work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and data security
- Aim to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, resourceful, and flexible
- Appropriately communicate with customers, including providing video support when needed, to ensure seamless and effective issue resolution
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to share knowledge, best practices, and feedback to continuously improve customer service operations
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Over 18 years of age
- High School Graduate or GED
- Logical problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to handle heavy incoming call volume and maintain a high level of productivity
- Ability to use Windows operating systems (Windows 10 or later) and basic computer applications
- Ability to type 25 words per minute (wpm) and maintain accuracy
- Predictable and reliable attendance and adherence to work schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 6-12 months of customer service experience in a similar industry or environment
- Consistent work history and a strong track record of reliability and attendance
- Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
- Some technical background or experience with technology-related products or services
Work from Home Requirements
- Must be able to provide a personal device (desktop, laptop, or tablet) with Windows 10 or later, Wired Ethernet LAN connection, and Internet Connection (Satellite, wireless, and dial-up ISP are not permitted)
- Internet Connection Requirements:
- Minimum subscribed download rate equal or exceeds 12.0 Mbps
- Minimum subscribed upload rate equal or exceeds 3.0 Mbps
- ISP must have no packet loss and ping under 50ms
- Proof of internet speed required
- Clean and quiet workspace that meets confidentiality and security requirements
