About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate English Language Arts Tutor to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. As a part-time tutor, you will have the flexibility to work with students in the comfort of their own homes, providing personalized support in high school level language arts, reading, writing, and homework preparation. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, one-on-one tutoring services to high school students in language arts, reading, writing, and homework preparation

- Effectively balance tutoring hours and manage your schedule to ensure that each student receives the support they need
- Provide regular session reports to our office and families, detailing student progress and areas for improvement
- Respond to existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Follow up with our office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours to ensure seamless continuation of services
- Only service students whose needs align with your areas of expertise and qualifications
Subjects and Areas of Focus

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred

- Experience with basic database/data entry
- Ability to prepare accordingly for each tutoring session (lesson plan)
- Personality suited for different types of students
- Strong administration skills
- Strong typing, PC, and recording skills
- Reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must
