Job Overview
In this exciting role, you will be part of the Platform Services & Operations group, where you will be responsible for delivering valuable data and insights, engaging with partners across the organization, and providing training in support of workflow initiatives. As a Workflow Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in enabling teams to deliver high-quality software through high-quality engineering experiences, efficient workflow, data-driven insights, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain critical workflow tooling at scale, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes
- Deliver valuable data and insights to stakeholders, driving informed decision-making and process improvements
- Engage with partners across the organization, providing training and support to ensure successful adoption of workflow initiatives
- Design and develop iterative dashboards, visualizing key metrics and progress towards goals
- Profile complex systems, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted solutions
- Identify trends and patterns in large data sets, translating insights into actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving efforts and generating concrete results through analytics
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst
- Solid working knowledge of Analytics: visualization, statistics, and the Analytics Maturity Curve (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, Prescriptive)
- Ability to translate research into insight: developing key metrics, recommending policy changes, and delivering action plans to all levels of leadership
- Advanced Tableau developer skills
- Capable SQL user: aggregation, nested queries, and data inspection/validation
- B.S. in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following skills and experience are highly desirable:
- Familiarity with Software Development Analytics: CICD, DORA metrics, and LEAN software delivery
- Experience in Software Development: knowledge of build pipelines, merging, checking systems and methods, and code transportation
- Product Ownership: experience driving efforts and generating concrete results through analytics
- Project management: planning and driving efforts, working across associate teams towards a unified goal
