About the Role
We're seeking friendly and attentive independent contractors to assist customers with delivery of safety services, including Emergency Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, Hands-free Destination Assist, Stolen Vehicle Locator, and more. As a Customer Support Response Specialist, you will be responsible for listening carefully to each caller's situation, evaluating their needs, and providing appropriate solutions to resolve their issues. You will exhibit a high degree of caring and empathy on each call, handling stressful situations in a calming and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients' customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Listen carefully to each caller's situation, evaluating their needs and providing appropriate solutions to resolve their issues
- Exhibit a high degree of caring and empathy on each call, handling stressful situations in a calming and professional manner
- Multi-task to find answers while on the call with the customer, utilizing available resources and tools to resolve issues efficiently
- React and respond decisively in emergency situations, providing critical support and assistance to customers in need
- Reassure, control, and diffuse emotional and/or difficult calls, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor at all times
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Caring, sympathetic, and helpful demeanor, with a strong customer service focus
- Strong active listening skills, with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs
- Multi-tasking skills, with the ability to find answers while on the call with the customer
- Ability to react and respond decisively in emergency situations, providing critical support and assistance to customers in need
- Ability to reassure, control, and diffuse emotional and/or difficult calls, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor at all times
- Fluency in English, with bilingual contractors (Spanish and English or French and English) highly preferred

- Prior experience with driver assistance programs or customer service experience in a similar industry
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:
As a Customer Support Response Specialist with arenaflex, you can expect:
- Competitive compensation, with a contract rate of $0.28 per customer interaction minute
- A minimum guarantee of 45 minutes per available hour, with the potential to earn up to $12.60 - $16.80 per hour
- Bilingual contractors will earn a rate of $0.31 per customer interaction minute, with a 48-minute minimum guarantee and the potential to earn up to $14.88 - $18.60 per hour
