**About the Role**
As an Experienced Customer Support Representative, you'll be the face of blithequark, providing world-class support to our customers through various channels, including email, live chat, and phone/video calls. Your primary responsibility will be to read and reply to customer queries, often involving complex data analysis and problem-solving. You'll work closely with our team to resolve customer issues, create engaging documentation, and contribute to the growth and development of our app.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Read and reply to customer emails through our helpdesk tool (HelpScout) and live chat support
* Investigate and explain report results, custom formulas, and feature capabilities
* Record videos to demonstrate app functionality and answer specific customer questions
* Write documentation about various features of the app
* Participate in phone/video calls with larger customers to educate and walk through features
* Collaborate with the team to resolve customer issues and improve the overall customer experience
**Required Skills:**
* Analytical reading: Ability to understand customer queries, not just what they're saying
* Intelligible writing: Excellent written English, clear, concise, and grammatically correct communication
* Problem-solving: Tenacity in tackling new and unique report requests, considering various solutions
* Love for data and numbers: Comfort and interest in working with data, with experience in Excel formulas or SQL a plus
**Preferred Skills:**
* Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio, or similar tools
* Experience in e-commerce, accounting, or finance, with familiarity with these domains beneficial
* Ability to create engaging screencasts for documentation and tutorial purposes
**Working Remotely:**
* Comfortable working from home or another remote environment with a dedicated workspace and reliable internet access
* Self-starter, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
* Available and online during working hours, with clear and frequent communication essential
* Willingness to join our team as an independent contractor/sole proprietor, responsible for paying your own taxes
