Key Responsibilities
- Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapies to patients, aiming to provide overall savings and improved health outcomes.
- Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Conduct numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients stay on their medications and remain adherent to their therapies, promoting better health outcomes.
- Effectively handle incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gathering patient and order information.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of insurance, health care, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education.
- Perform routine assessment and problem identification, escalating issues to a pharmacist as needed, to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone, with a strong focus on empathy and patient satisfaction.
- 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application, demonstrating proficiency in technology and data management.
- Must reside in the state of Nevada, with a reliable internet connection and a secure, distraction-free workspace that meets our Work from Home requirements.
- Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in health care, pharmacy, or a related field, with a strong understanding of medical terminology, health care systems, and patient needs.
