As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our organization, interacting with clients at the ticket counter, baggage service office, and gate area. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of tasks, from checking in clients and handling baggage to resolving issues and addressing client concerns. Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly support to clients and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Work in a collaborative spirit to ensure the success of our organization
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients seeking to travel, use cargo or baggage services by addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly
- Handle all aspects of check-in and registration, including operating an electronic retail system, boarding, baggage handling, reservations, and resolving related complaints and issues
- Greet and interact with clients in a courteous and friendly manner, handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets
- Process transactions, make change, and balance daily transactions, taking responsibility for any overage or shortage
- Check in baggage and cargo, answer phone calls to provide information to clients, page clients, resolve issues or complaints, and assist as needed
- Handle transactions required to board the aircraft in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage upset clients due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, resolving issues quickly and within established guidelines
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities. Additionally, you will need to have:
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues promptly and professionally

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or relevant experience preferred
