**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs and providing assistance to meet their expectations
* Learn about arenaflex products and services using our tools and training programs
* Sell entire projects to customers, recommending solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations
* Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring a clean, shop-able, and safe environment for customers
* Follow all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
* Work cooperatively with Department Supervisors and other associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
* Develop and maintain knowledge of arenaflex products and services, including Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental
* Participate in sales training and development programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or sales environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on sales growth and customer satisfaction
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
