Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with prospective customers via live chat, phone, email, and SMS to nurture and prepare them for a vehicle or solar purchase, providing personalized support and guidance throughout the sales process
- Respond to inbound customer support inquiries from current customers, resolving their vehicle or solar product needs in a timely and professional manner, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Use a consultative approach to influence customer purchase decisions, promoting our products and services, and aiding buy-in to the mission, business model, and Tesla brand
- Provide feedback and recommendations based on direct experiences with potential customers, contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes and procedures
- Escalate matters that require management attention in a timely manner, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and efficiently
- Work on the continuous improvement of processes and procedures related to Tesla's product family, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance customer experience
- Deliver the highest level of customer service throughout the full delivery cycle and installation process, as well as continued support throughout ownership, ensuring customer loyalty and retention
- Determine if technical solutions can be resolved for more immediate attention and provide remote education, empowering customers to get the most out of our products and services
- Assist with any campaigns that are requested by Tesla headquarters, including customer communication, and contribute to the success of our marketing initiatives
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Essential Qualifications
- At least 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals, or a bachelor's degree in a related field
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Positive and energetic, with excellent listening, reading, and communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Ability to work in a team-based environment and achieve a common goal, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
- Ability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays in an office environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
- Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools, including email, MS Office, internet navigation, and CRM applications, with a strong understanding of technology and its applications
- Valid US Driver's License and/or State ID, and ability to obtain DMV Salesperson's License, with a clean driving record and a commitment to safety
