Job Overview
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Technical Sales teams to deliver the value of arenaflex Cloud to our clients. As a Customer Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding the technical needs of our clients, designing and delivering tailored solutions, and providing expert guidance on the implementation of our cloud-based products. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping our clients to overcome complex technical challenges and achieve their business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify business and technical requirements, lead full technical discovery, and design customer solutions to meet assembled requirements
- Lead technical projects, technology support, bid response support, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources
- Deliver product messaging for the arenaflex Cloud Platform using whiteboard and slide presentations, product demos, white papers, trial management, and Request for Information (RFI) response documents
- Drive recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application frameworks to implement a complete solution, providing best practice advice to clients to optimize arenaflex Cloud platform effectiveness
- Attend client sites, meetings, and other events as required
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The following qualifications and experience are required:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role
- Experience with legacy and modern application development, cloud service delivery, and networking
- Experience with containers, including Kubernetes and other related technologies
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred, but not essential:
- Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
- Experience developing mobile architectures using API management, microservice architectures, PaaS, and container orchestration systems, or other relevant platforms
- Experience working with Government Public Sector clients, including defense and civilian agencies
- Knowledge of application security designs, including web application security, service mesh, and mobile security techniques
- Ability to learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, philosophies, and solutions in the arenaflex Cloud/IT technology space
