Key Responsibilities

• Design custom circuits to improve chip power efficiency, working closely with the power team, PD, and designers to define specifications and requirements
• Perform design, analysis, modeling/simulation, circuit-level specifications, schematic capture, spice simulation/edge checking across PVT, statistical design, functional verification, and silicon bring-up
• Collaborate with the layout team to complete the design and ensure design quality, driving circuit processes to achieve the highest design quality metrics
• Conduct investigations during silicon debug, manufacturing, and testing data, using scripting to support efficient handling of ATE data
• Develop and implement groundbreaking ideas, working with a team of dedicated engineers to integrate and innovate

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering) and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in designing low-voltage/low-power custom circuits, with a deep understanding of deep submicron device physics, leakage mechanisms, and technology interactions with device behavior
• Strong understanding of device integration, device noise sources (1/f, thermal), external noise sources (supply, jitter), and their impact on high-precision circuits
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python/Perl or others) and CAD automation tools, with knowledge of industry-standard circuit and design tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: AI accelerators, SRAM circuits, non-volatile memories, weak/moderate inversion circuits, super low-power amplifiers, DC/DC converters, digital on-chip sensors, fast timing, time-to-digital converters (TDCs)
• Familiarity with asynchronous message passing and behavioral models for asynchronous message blocks
• Experience with circuit simulation and modeling tools, such as SPICE or Verilog-AMS
