Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize blithequark's data entry systems and protocols to process new patient enrollments, enter patient and medication information, and handle patient medication requests in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Investigate and resolve missing medication data, decipher medical abbreviations (SIG codes), and settle data entry-related exceptions.
• Handle inbound and outbound communications with patients, prescribers, and guarantors, including phone calls, visits, and messages.
• Resolve Third-Party Rejections by inspecting, gathering information, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
• Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and in other locations, and escalate issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
• Maintain a dynamic professional license or certification within the initial 90 days and keep an active professional license or certification throughout employment.

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic level computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, and accessing information online.
• Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine, and completing forms online.
• Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a more competitive candidate:

• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
• At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification agency.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
• Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
