About the Team and Role
The consumer growth marketing team at DoorDash is focused on driving business growth through the acquisition and retention of consumers. As an Associate Manager - Paid Social, Growth Marketing, and Consumer Acquisition Specialist, you will be a key member of this team, responsible for managing the performance of digital channels for our DashPass media and supporting the management of our growing digital team. You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with other DoorDash teams, including regional teams, and with our partners, Meta and Snap, to test and implement new marketing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multi-million dollar monthly digital budgets across digital paid marketing channels, including Paid Social (Meta, Snap, TikTok), App Display, and new test channels
- Work closely with our in-house team to optimize media buying and achieve aggressive targets in a cost-effective manner
- Establish channel forecasts and budget recommendations, with the speed and ownership to adjust tactics and strategies quickly based on learnings and opportunities
- Direct and manage agencies to achieve goals and ROI targets
- Maintain and monitor key metrics across channels, including budget pacing, LTV, and CAC
- Manage an experimentation roadmap to optimize performance, including A/B creative tests, incrementality tests, and bidding algorithm tests
- Test new channel/product features to identify incremental audiences and inventory for accelerating growth
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure goals are met and align with the company's overall mission and objectives
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience with paid social and other digital marketing channels, including managing large budgets and optimizing campaign performance
- A BA/BS degree and 5+ years of related search performance marketing experience
- Direct, hands-on experience managing media buying, optimization (Paid Social, App Display, Online Video), and strategic planning, either at an agency or in-house
- Deep familiarity with CPA, CPC, CVR, and LTV, as well as the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform marketing decisions
- High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, as well as a strong grasp of A/B testing and metrics-driven performance marketing
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems, and effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, we prefer candidates with:
- Experience with Web & App Tracking/Attribution
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data processing scripts
- Experience working on multi-sided marketplace businesses
