They are seeking a motivated early career professional to join their Wastewater department in Boston, MA, where the role involves assisting in the design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems and collaborating on multidisciplinary projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems
- Support infiltration and inflow studies
- Conduct fieldwork and site inspections for wastewater projects
- Support the preparation of reports, technical documents, and permit applications
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS for design and analysis
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts
- Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders as needed
Skills
- 0-3 years experience preferred, internship experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel within New England for field work as needed
- EIT certification preferred
- Experience with or strong interest in wastewater design preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D & Microsoft Office Suite preferred, GIS experience a plus
