About the Role: Security Guard Entry Level

We're excited to offer immediate openings for Security Guards at Allied Universal, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises. As a Security Guard, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients and their visitors, providing excellent customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to our clients by executing safety and security protocols, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies with a calm and problem-solving demeanor.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations effectively, ensuring the safety and security of people and property.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as per client site requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security threats and ensure a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.

Essential Qualifications:

To be considered for this entry-level security position, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience in a related field.
• Be willing to undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Be subject to a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in security or a related field.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
