Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Retrieve, research, and resolve specific customer emails and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Order Management: Enter, track, monitor, and coordinate customer order delivery requirements to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
- Issue Resolution: Analyze customer spare parts inquiries, facilitate responses, and resolve delivery problems to meet customer needs.
- Customer Communication: Advise customers regarding order status, changes, or improvements and follow up on issues related to their accounts.
- Data Analysis: Research and analyze data to identify trends or issues regarding specific customers and provide insights to support customer program managers.
- Reporting and Maintenance: Support Customer Program Managers by maintaining reports, customer data, and managing customer expectations.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Customer Service Experience: 1+ year of experience in customer service or a support organization, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
- External Customer Interaction: 1+ year of experience interfacing with external customers and responding to support requests.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Basic Supply Chain Knowledge: Experience and/or knowledge of Basic Supply Chain principles.
- Shift Work: Ability and willingness to work a 3/36 shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12 hours each day) and adapt to changing shift schedules as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus:
- Aerospace Industry Experience: 1+ year of experience in aviation or aerospace, preferably in a customer service/support environment.
- SAP Experience: 1+ year of experience with SAP in support of Supply Chain functions.
- CRM Experience: 1+ year of experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, systems, and processes.
- Supply Chain Strategies: 1+ year of experience working with supply chain strategies, such as inventory reduction, parts kitting, supplier consolidation, optimum flow, and lead-time reduction.
- Adaptability and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a cross-functional team, adapting to changing environments and customer needs.
