Project Scope:
We are seeking an experienced EMR
Integration Healthcare Consultant to support healthcare IT systems, including
Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR), Laboratory Information Systems, PACS, and
Pharmacy systems. This role involves implementation, integration, maintenance,
and troubleshooting of healthcare applications and related interfaces to ensure
seamless clinical and operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support
implementation activities including build, testing, and go-live of
healthcare systems (EHR, Lab, PACS, Pharmacy)
- Maintain
healthcare IT infrastructure including applications, databases, templates,
and reporting tools
- Troubleshoot
and resolve EMR-related issues, including triage, escalation, and root
cause analysis
- Support
system integrations and ensure smooth data flow across healthcare
platforms
- Develop
and generate reports for business and clinical users
- Document
current workflows and processes for medical and mental healthcare
providers
- Collaborate
with vendors, clinical teams, and technical stakeholders for system
enhancements and support
Required Skills & Experience:
· 7+ years of
experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems
(preferably NextGen)
· 7+ years of
experience with Mirth Connect (Lab Systems / Integration Engine)
· 7+ Years of
Experience EMR Integration
· Strong experience
in troubleshooting, system support, and healthcare IT environments
· Experience
working directly for a State Government Agency
· 7+ Years of
Experience with Interoperability and Data Transfer
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with HL7
messaging standards
· Experience with FHIR
· Strong background
in EMR integration and interoperability

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,
