EDW Architect

Salary: $130,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements: • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field • Alternatively, 20 years of relevant business or IT experience in lieu of a degree • At least 15 years of related experience with diverse technical solutions • Minimum 5 years of experience in Enterprise Information architectures and Data Governance implementation • Minimum 5 years in designing data infrastructure components for the complete data life cycle • Minimum 3 years of experience with Structured Query Language (MS SQL Server, Oracle) • Proficient in programming with RDBMS, NoSQL, and Hadoop Responsibilities: • Create, implement, and maintain the Enterprise Data Platform & Information Architecture Framework • Design and implement data governance processes and protocols for securing data at rest and in motion • Collaborate with clinical, research, administrative system owners, external vendors, and other leadership to understand and fulfill their data needs • Provide technology leadership in Modern Data Warehouse Framework for the Enterprise Data Analytics platform • Collaborate with Information Management & Information Delivery teams for comprehensive technology architecture • Develop and conceptualize the architecture framework that aligns with the strategic plan and data governance efforts • Train staff on applicable systems and oversee vendor training for new systems • Manage multiple projects while ensuring deadlines are met • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently • Create and maintain documentation regarding architecture, design, and framework assets Technologies: • Architect • Data Warehouse • NoSQL • Oracle • REST • SQL • AI • Hadoop • Support • Talend More: We are a leading healthcare system based in Southern California, offering a fully remote position for the EDW Architect II role.
