Director of Business Development and Product Delivery  Role overview   The Director of Business Development and Product Delivery is a high-ownership, externally focused leadership position that reports directly to the CEO. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, product delivery, and manufacturing scale-up and will play a pivotal part in driving Ereztech's growth into new customers, industries, and applications.  You will own the full external commercial lifecycle—from identifying market opportunities and securing new business to orchestrating the delivery of products to customers, whether through internal manufacturing, toll partners, or external vendors. A core responsibility is bridging the market signal with operational feasibility: working closely with operations leadership to ensure that what is sold can be delivered, and that Ereztech is building the right capacity for the right opportunities at the right time.  The ideal candidate is a technically credentialed commercial leader with deep roots in organometallic, inorganic, or specialty chemical markets—someone who can speak the language of a process engineer at a semiconductor fab and a procurement manager at a materials company with equal fluency. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with direct influence over Ereztech's product portfolio, supply chain strategy, and revenue trajectory.  Key deliverables for this role   - Identify market opportunities and growth vectors in advanced materials spaces: with a particular focus on non-semiconductor applications and industries.  - Own bookings targets and revenue accountability for new customer accounts, industries, and applications.  - Lead external vendor and toller relationships: sourcing, negotiation, and supply chain reliability, ensuring Ereztech has the external delivery infrastructure to support commercial commitments.  - Orchestrate product delivery projects in collaboration with internal operations - defining timelines, managing external partners, and ensuring customer commitments are met regardless of whether the product is manufactured internally or sourced externally.  - Assist in evaluating and recommend process technology and equipment pathways for scale-up projects: assessing reactor configurations, toll manufacturing options, and capital investment scenarios to inform build-vs-outsource decisions in collaboration with operations leadership.  - Participate in cross-functional decisions on which molecules to develop, scale, or source externally: bridging market signals with operational feasibility and contributing to Ereztech's strategic product investment roadmap.    Traits of a strong candidate   - PhD in chemistry, materials science, or a related field strongly preferred - organometallic or inorganic chemistry background is a significant advantage.   - Demonstrated track record of building customer relationships and closing business in specialty chemical, advanced materials, or metalorganic supply chain markets.   - Deep familiarity with metalorganic applications, industrial procurement cycles is a strong plus.   - Ability to operate as both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor—comfortable owning a project from opportunity identification through customer delivery.   - Strong external presence: confident in front of customers, suppliers, and partners at both technical and executive levels. Collaborative and transparent with internal teams: able to make and keep commitments to operations without creating unrealistic customer expectations.   - Strong business acumen: ability to build commercial projections, manage budgets, and construct business cases that connect market opportunities to financial outcomes and operational investment.   - Comfortable with ambiguity, capable of prioritizing across competing opportunities, and energized by building something from the ground up. Willingness to travel as needed for customer visits, supplier evaluations, and industry conferences.    Location: Remote  Employment type: Full Time     Who we are      Founded in 2010, Ereztech is a specialty chemical manufacturer focused on high-purity, air-sensitive organometallic and inorganic precursors.
