Apex Systems is hiring for a Data Engineer for a major Healthcare company. 6 month contract with possibility to extend or convert. FULLY remote. You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. About the role: A large healthcare client is building out a data engineering team; with the goal of establishing a strong data foundation and framework for analytics in Snowflake and Power BI· The role is unique as it will partner with our Adobe AEP CDP and also Adobe CJA team to enrich the data and have the ability to power customer and provider 360’s.· There is a lot of opportunity to enable change as well as learn on the job. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field2+ years experience Technical Skills:• VERY STRONG SQL • Some hands-on Snowflake experience• Experience with connecting large and disparate datasets• Experience with online/digital datasets Additional nice-to-haves: · Experience Adobe CJA· Healthcare experience Soft Skills:· Superior communication skills· Exhibited accuracy and attention to details, even under pressure. Responsibilities will include: · Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from diverse data sources.· Design and optimize Snowflake schemas and data models. o Data focus: § Strong emphasis on tying online and offline data together§ Work includes large-scale datasets (millions of rows)§ Experience with unstructured data is expected (typically via Snowflake) o Design data models that are:§ Sustainable long-term§ Easy to consume by analysts and BI tools§ Integrate multiple data sources and structures into an analytics-ready “zone”· Develop clean, reliable datasets for Power BI dashboards and metric storehouses.· Partner with analytics and BI teams to translate business needs into data solutions.· Provide power BI dashboards and support for various teamsEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
