Description
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The AE Assistant will assist in reviewing loan packages, ensure all required data is collected and communicate with lenders to obtain necessary documents. The Lending Associate will work alongside a fast-paced team while closely interacting with existing lenders, internal company teams and various third parties involved in financing transactions while cultivating a professional environment.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support with technology development initiatives.
- Assist in the management of relationships with existing lenders.
- Help train lenders to review, package and submit loans.
- Support in follow-up on a regular basis to ensure consistent deal flow and maintain open communication with all parties involved.
- Review loan submittals for completeness; pre-approve loans that conform to CV3’s Underwriting Guidelines.
- Work closely with Operations team to move loans through Mortgage Cadence efficiently.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and analyzing customer data.
- Contribute ideas and assist to enhance organizational needs.
- Perform other related duties or special ad hoc projects, as assigned.
- Exercise proactive, independent problem-solving abilities to complete work assignments.
REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or real estate preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in lending, real estate, finance, or related field required.
- Working knowledge and use of MS Office (specifically Word, Excel and Outlook), imaging system and internet.
- Experience with a Loan Origination System (LOS), e.g., Mortgage Cadence, preferred but not required.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor in all interactions
- Clear, concise, and accurate written communication skills for internal and external correspondence
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Comfort with navigating IT systems, networks, and web-based tools; ability to troubleshoot or escalate as needed
- Resourceful and efficient at conducting internet-based research to support projects and client needs
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and responsiveness
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, with a solution-oriented and proactive mindset
- Demonstrated ability to provide timely, professional, and reliable support to both internal teams and external clients
- Strong attention to detail while managing multiple projects or tasks, particularly in marketing and client-facing deliverables
