Job Summary
As a Care Coordination Representative, you will be responsible for completing tasks related to assigned Health Information Management services, including e-Filing, order and referral management, insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and completing patient medical forms. You will report directly to the Care Coordination Supervisor and work in a remote setting, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and File Medical Documents: Evaluate medical documents and file them electronically into patient charts according to client protocols, ensuring accurate and timely filing.
- Navigate Electronic Health Records (EHRs): Navigate client EHR software and internal systems with ease, utilizing strong data entry and typing skills to move quickly on a keyboard.
- Handle High Volumes of Work: Handle high volumes of work with high quality and accuracy, meeting productivity and quality standards.
- Cross-Train in Multiple EHRs: Cross-train in multiple EHRs to provide additional team coverage when needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Follow Filing Processes: Follow pre-defined filing processes, referring to company internal documentation or asking your supervisor for assistance when needed.
