Title: California Employment Attorney (Consulting) – Advise Pro Se Plaintiff in Dispute with Tech Company Job Type: Consulting / Hourly (No representation required) Overview: I am seeking an experienced California employment attorney to consult and advise me as I navigate an employment-related dispute with a former employer in the tech industry. I am currently considering self-representation (pro se) and would like strategic legal guidance, risk assessment, and help reviewing communications and negotiation posture. This is not full legal representation. I am specifically looking for a consulting attorney who can provide tactical advice on an hourly basis. Scope of Work: • Review case facts and timeline • Advise on legal strategy and leverage • Evaluate settlement options • Review communications with opposing counsel • Advise on potential claims and risks • Provide guidance on self-representation approach • Identify weaknesses in my position • Advise on negotiation strategy • Review prior counsel conduct (optional but helpful) • Help prepare structured responses This will be ad hoc consulting, likely 1–3 hours per week initially. Case Context (High Level): • Former employer is a tech / crypto company • Issue involves termination / separation and equity-related matters • There are existing settlement discussions • I previously retained counsel and am evaluating next steps • I may proceed pro se with consulting support More details will be shared after engagement.
