Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Gather, validate, and document business requirements to create clear, actionable specifications.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to design new processes and system improvements.
- Act as the link between end users and development teams to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
- Define and execute test plans to validate that software solutions meet functional requirements.
- Support business transition initiatives and contribute to organisational change.
- Assist in resolving service incidents and provide ongoing user support.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (dailies, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to foster continuous improvement.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or financial services environment.
- Knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking products (Loans, RPPs, Insurance, etc).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Experience with tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Teams.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to document processes effectively.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with LoanIQ or similar loan management systems.
- Prior exposure to global solution implementations in banking.
- Knowledge of insurance products.
- Familiarity with the Santander ecosystem or other multinational financial institutions.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to relocate to Málaga, Spain.
- Availability to start from 1st October.
