As a Business Analyst, you will drive discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose functional solutions, and manage projects to ensure successful delivery while balancing business needs with technical constraints.
Responsibilities
- Drive discussions with business stakeholders to understand their problems and requirements
- Work with other technical team members on proposing solutions that meet business needs and requirements
- Manage the expectations of stakeholders by communicating progress and timelines on projects
- Proactively work with business stakeholders to identify long-term opportunities and work with the enterprise architecture team to incorporate them into a roadmap
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams
- Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, documenting both the current and future stages as process flow diagrams
- Design and implement process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Oversee testing activities including partnering with business team members to document test cases and carry out UAT activities
- Other duties as may be assigned
Skills
- Experience gathering and consolidating requirements from business stakeholders
- Proficient in the creation and presentation of requirements documentation
- Experience translating business requirements into working solutions
- Experience in building relationships, influencing and working closely with stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions
- Proven track record of managing projects and delivering on time
- Experience working directly with technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Prior project management experience
- Experience in agile methodologies, familiarity with Jira, Confluence
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, or another major cloud provider such as AWS
- Working knowledge of documentation standards such as BPMN and UML
