We are developing a structured, multi-step assessment platform that requires a secure backend scoring engine and REST API layer.
We are seeking an experienced backend engineer to:
• Implement weighted scoring logic based on a predefined matrix
• Design secure database architecture
• Build authenticated REST API endpoints
• Return structured JSON responses (score, tier, explanation)
• Implement rate limiting and error handling
• Deliver clean documentation
The system must be scalable, secure, and structured for future expansion.
Requirements
• Strong backend experience (Node.js, Python, or similar)
• Experience building scoring systems, assessment tools, or rule-based engines
• API-first development mindset
• Secure coding practices
• Ability to deliver within 15 calendar days
