As a Systems Architect, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
Our architects work with vendors and Society leadership to help them formulate their technology roadmaps to address unified communications, desktop optimization, cloud computing, identity management, and virtualization. In this role, you’ll not only implement infrastructure technologies but also help Society understand and realize the value of those technologies.
• *Essential Function/Responsibility
• Administration and support of Microsoft Stack to support the Society’s business and mission. Particularly around the cloud and Azure 30%
• Understanding of LAN / WAN, VOIP, TCP/IP, VPN 10%
• Society Security monitoring and securing 20%
• Keep all Society servers up to date except exchange through maintenance windows each month. 10%
• Development of Technology strategies and Policies. 10%
• Tasked with securing the Society’s technology. Being one of the lead technologist to make sure new and current implementations are secure at the application and network level.20%

• Experience in designing and implementing Network Infrastructure topology and schematics
• Ability to packet capture using Wireshark or TCPDump
• Administration and Design of Disaster Recovery and Backup tools such as Backup Exec,
• Administration and Experience using Network Monitoring tools such as SolarWinds
• Proficient in software and firmware patching technologies such SCCM
• Implementation and support of Networks security, VPN, firewalls, load balancers, DNS and other infrastructure components.
• Cisco IOS experience (switches, ASA firewalls, QoS policies, Access lists and traffic prioritization)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and desire to research new technologies
