AWS / DevOps-Focused Full Stack Engineer
Remote- Must work CST or EST hours
6- month contract
Pay Rate: $70.00 - $80.00per hr.
Join the Wealth Engineering team, a small, collaborative group focused on modernizing wealth management applications using AWS serverless technologies. The team emphasizes innovation, efficiency, and adoption of tools like GitHub Copilot and GenAI. Our client is seeking a senior full stack engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, and serverless architecture. While React is used occasionally, the main focus is cloud infrastructure and backend services.
Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform
• Develop and support serverless APIs using .NET Lambda functions
• Implement API Gateway and ElastiCache solutions as part of backend architecture
• Integrate data pipelines between AWS and Snowflake, leveraging Snowpipe for ingestion
• Work on Aurora PostgreSQL (SQL) and DynamoDB (NoSQL)
• Support modernization of backend architecture while maintaining current frameworks
• Collaborate with team members to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions
• Contribute to team efficiency using GitHub Copilot and other productivity tools
• Provide backup support for React front-end tasks when necessary
Required Skills:
• 5-7 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in AWS and serverless architecture
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Experience with .NET Lambda APIs
• Familiarity with Snowflake + Snowpipe, Aurora PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB
• Some exposure to React (working knowledge for collaboration)
• Strong collaboration and team fit skills
• Patience and adaptability to work within banking regulatory processes
Bonus Skills:
• Experience with GenAI or modern productivity tools
• Exposure to financial services / wealth management
