IXL Learning is the country's largest EdTech company, seeking an upbeat individual to join their Inside Sales team. The role involves lead follow-up, outbound calls, and assisting with sales campaigns to support the global customer base.
Responsibilities
- Lead follow up for transactional sales and data input for processing
- Conduct cold outbound calls and qualify inbound sales leads to communicate IXL's value proposition to new global users and to identify their requirements for the sales team
- Ensure the timely processing of leads and assist with and support sales campaigns
- Identify growth opportunities for the sales teams to ensure growth attainment
- Conduct web application product demonstrations virtually using screen share technology
Skills
- BA/BS degree
- Some customer service, inside sales or education experience, preferably within the ed-tech or software industry
- A high level of self-motivation, energy, and drive to succeed
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communications skills
- Understanding of web applications
- Ability to accommodate various global time zones
- Salesforce.com experience
