Position Summary
We invite applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor with expertise in the area of animal physiology to start in August 2024. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Hold a Ph.D. in Biology or a related field by August 2024
- Have post-doctoral research experience (preferred)
- Demonstrate success or potential to excel in teaching and advising undergraduates
- Show evidence of ongoing scholarly productivity
- Teach organismal biology and upper-level courses in animal physiology and cell and molecular biology
- Develop a compelling research program accessible to undergraduate student participation and collaboration
Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Professor of Biology at Susquehanna University, you will be expected to:
- Teach a range of biology courses, including organismal biology, animal physiology, and cell and molecular biology
- Develop and maintain a research program that involves undergraduate students and aligns with the university's research priorities
