You will need to be an ambitious and qualified accountant but, importantly, you will need to be comfortable with ambiguity, rolling up your sleeves and getting “stuck in” to the more routine accounting tasks.
Key duties will include…
• Owning/ executing the moth-end close process
• Ensuring SOX compliance
• Actively improving existing systems and controls to ensure they are fit for future growth
• Main point of contact with Audit, PBC walkthrough
• Being an ASC606
You will be comfortable working at a fast pace, within a high-growth company, where you will be required to wear many hats.
You will also need...
• To be a qualified accountant (CPA/ ACA or equivalent)
• To be very comfortable executing month-end close
• To have worked within a startup setting previously, operating within a lean team
• Experience of financial reporting within a public company setting
• A strong understanding of ASC606
• To be located on the East Coast of the United States or on East Coast hours
