The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is one of the most influential regulatory agencies in the United States. They are seeking an energetic, professional, and customer service-oriented individual to join their Human Resources Division as an Analyst I, responsible for interpreting laws and regulations, reviewing personnel actions, and working on special projects.
Responsibilities
- Interpreting and applying applicable laws, rules, and regulations
- Reviewing Requests for Personnel Actions
- Out-of-class assignments
- Training and development assignments
- Proposed reorganizations
- Formulating or revising classification specifications and allocation guidelines
- Working on special projects such as automation of the Request for Personnel Action process
Skills
- Prepare and submit a response for each question below. The SOQ should provide specific details and examples that clearly demonstrate how your training, experience, and education qualifies you for the position

- Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list or LEAP eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility (please attach your letter, if available)
