What you will be doing • Teaches lecture and laboratory sections • Evaluates and advises students • Participates in departmental and College affairs • Develops curricula • Recruits students • Serves on committees • Performs other duties as assigned What you need to succeed • Master's degree in Education or a Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution and 18 graduate credit hours in Early Childhood Education; and, one year or more of experience in a child care setting serving children birth through 8 years old • Possess excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) • Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community • Ability to communicate effectively with students of widely ranging skills • Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments Preferences • Doctorate in Early Childhood Education or Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Early Childhood Education • For best consideration upload your unofficial transcripts along with cover letter and resume.
