Accounting Associate

Reporting Line: Reports to Accounting Head
Location: Remote

Support the expansion of the finance function and streamline daily financial operations within the Subsidiary’s Finance team. This role is well-suited for early-career professionals eager to deepen their accounting expertise, as well as experienced individuals who enjoy applying their skills in a collaborative, mid-sized team environment. The Accounting Associate will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and reliability in financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance processes.

• Perform daily sales reporting and reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy
• Manage bookkeeping activities in QuickBooks Online, including bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, accounts payable, and client equity
• Contribute to month-end processes, including profit and loss analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support the streamlining and automation of accounting workflows to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with the Finance team to troubleshoot discrepancies and ensure data integrity
• Assist with finance-related administrative duties to strengthen departmental operations

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting entries using QuickBooks Online
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, intercompany transfers, and client equity transactions
• Support monthly and quarterly closes, preparing P&L and balance sheet schedules
• Analyze financial data and generate independent reports when required
• Collaborate with team members to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to compliance and audit requirements
• Provide support for finance-related administrative functions and documentation

Requirements

• Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and/or Google Sheets
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports independently
• Problem-solving mindset with strong troubleshooting abilities
• Comfortable in a close-knit, high-trust team dynamic
• Self-starter, proactive, and results-oriented
• English required; Mandarin and/or Spanish are strong advantages
